November 11th will be the 99th anniversary of Polish Independence

For this reason, I’d like to invite you to our Polish Independence Day Movie Screening and Social – this Sunday, November 5th in Toronto. This event is totally free, and everybody’s invited. The social and movie screening will follow the Parade (see program below). We will assemble at the Polish Combatants’ Hall (206 Beverley St., Toronto) – bar open at 2.30pm; movie screening at 4pm.

We will be watching “1920 Battle of Warsaw” (here’s the trailer).

Why should you come?:

  • Celebrate the Polish heritage and history (and hopefully for that you can join us at the parade),
  • Watch a great historical movie (English subtitles) among your fellow Polonia,
  • Mix, mingle, meet, network at the famous SPK Bar,
  • Simply enjoy your Sunday in a great company!
